Entry for contest. Probably will add some stuff in the description again later.

Alright…they’re Langit and Laut. Laut is a Warok n Langit is his gemblak. I’ve written this in my initial drawing of them here [link] but I’ll write it again to avoid confusion about the warok - gemblak thing.

In Indonesia, there is a traditional dance from East Java, named Reog Ponorogo.
In the dance group, there are waroks, some kind of warriors. Not only in the dance show, but also warrior in reality.
To put it in a simple way, warok is some kind of 'warrior' or someone who is respected in his village,
and he possessed a strong magic power. And to keep his magic power, he must not engaged in a sexual relationship with women.
So usually these waroks will keep a young boy as a 'substitute', those who are called gemblak.
Nowadays, this tradition is almost never practiced anymore. And those gemblaks who dances at the opening of Reog dance are changed to women.
(I’m not making this up, go google it )

Okay, about the couple now.

Laut (the one on the right. Naturally, he‘s the seme.)
Basic info: 33 years old. 178 cm. Tan skin, black hair and eyes.
A relatively young warok, but he’s very well respected in the village. Not only because of his strong spiritual power, but also his wisdom and fairness despite his sharp tongue. Not like some other waroks, he only takes older boys as gemblak. Said that he doesn’t have the least interest in little brats (and also because I’m not into shota, lol). He did take Langit in his care when he was still 13, but he didn’t make him his gemblak until he turned 16.
Calm and sarcastic, he has quite an intimidating aura. Most people avoid messing with him, except Langit and some of his closest subordinates. Owns several handicraft shops in the village, which he also contributes as the artist there. Loves flowers, Langit always makes fun of him because of this hobby. He has a ritual of going to the market in Sunday mornings and buys a bunch of flowers to decorate the vases in his house.
He very rarely got angry, but can be quite scary once he’s mad. In extreme cases, he can be very uncontrollable and tend to act carelessly. So far only Langit and two of his subordinate (who’re also his old friends) that’s able to calm his rage.

Langit (one on the left, uke.)
Basic info : 20 years old. 165 cm. Long black hair, black eyes. Light skin colour. A tattoo on his right hip, a Chinese character of Sky ([link])
A Chinese descendant, but raised in a traditional Javanese household. Was told that he was found by his foster father in front of a graveyard gate as a little baby. No clue about his origins or family, except the small tattoo on his hip, a Chinese character of ‘sky’. Hence the name Langit (it means sky in Indonesian). His foster father passed away because of an illness when he was still 11, and sadly two years later his mother also passed away. He was lying next to his foster parents’ graves after his mother’s funeral, wondering where he should go when Laut approached him. That’s when he found out that he was chosen by Laut to be his gemblak after he reached the age 16. That explains the cow and several goats his family obtained, and how he was still able to go to school despite his family’s very poor condition. Doesn’t really like the idea at first, but decided that Laut’s not so bad after staying with him for several months.
Kind and energetic. A little short tempered and tends to act impulsively. His relatively pretty face and slender body makes him looks weak, therefore a target for bullies. He fights a lot, and he gets better and better. Very good in both fighting and dancing. One of the village’s favourite gemblaks.
Rebellious, especially when restrained. Doesn’t trust people easily and tends to distance himself from people, but really loyal and protective to ones he loves.

Their story summary.
Since Langit’s father death when he was 11, his mother faced more difficulties in financial. They barely able to cover the living expenses each day despite their hard work. Some people including Laut will help the poor family, but still, Langit almost had to give up his school. In the same time, several waroks in the village had started to have an interest in Langit. Langit’s mother tried to ignore all the offers of taking him as gemblak, but one particular warok who’s unpopular of his arrogance and violence named Kuwat started to threaten her.
Fear of her son’s fate if he’s taken by Kuwat, his mother desperately went to Laut for help. She asked Laut to take Langit instead, because she knows that Kuwat is no match for Laut. Laut agreed to take Langit by the time he was 16, but he give his payment in advance so Langit will still able to go to school, and to put his mark so Kuwat knows that Langit belongs to him already.
Two years later, Langit’s mom died because of a heart attack. Laut took him under his care three years earlier than the agreed time. By 16, he officially become Laut’s gemblak.
One day, he overheard some people gossiping about Kuwat, and they went to the topic of Langit’s mother. It was said that actually she wasn’t dead because of a heart attack, but because Kuwat’s been casting black magic on her. Langit charged the gossiper, demanding the whole story. The circulated story was Kuwat was furious after he found out that Langit was taken by Laut instead, but he didn’t dare to face Laut. So he vent his anger to Langit’s mother, killing her. On the other hand, he also planned to backstab Laut and ruin his reputation (although most likely nobody will believe Kuwat since he‘s so unpopular).
Langit, burned with anger and hatred started to devise a plan for revenge. He started flirting with Kuwat, slowly putting his guard down. He managed to make Kuwat so drunk once, he started to boast about all the terrible things he secretly did, including killing Langit’s mother. Confirmed the gossip was true, Langit was furious, but he planned another scenario to take Kuwat down.
One day he managed to slip poison to Kuwat’s drink, when they were sitting in a crowded coffee shop. Kuwat was paralyzed temporarily. No one helped him, because his guards who were waiting in front of the shop were stopped by Langit’s friends (who were some of the strongest delinquents in the village). Langit took his talisman that makes him immune to sharp objects, and he demanded him to tell the truth, in front of all the people there, about his mother’s death. And also about his plan to slander Laut. Langit threatened him with a knife he secretly took from Laut’s room. Left with no choice, but annoyed because he fell for such trap, Kuwat began to boast about all the things he did, into the very tiny detail of how he made Langit’s mother suffer before she died. Langit lost his control, and almost kill Kuwat for real if Laut didn’t stop him.
Been living for more than three years with Langit, Laut noticed that he’s been acting strange lately. He also saw him with Kuwat in several occasions, which raised his suspicions. Langit always showed his dislike openly to Kuwat, and the fact that he was close to him now is strange. He asked one of his guard to keep an eye on Langit, thinking maybe Kuwat is casting an attraction spell on him (hey, this kind of spell is real. Trust me o.o). But when his guard went back hurriedly telling him that Langit went to the medicine man to buy the poisonous mixture (the guard managed to squeeze out the info from the medicine man), Laut began to understand what’s going on. He rushed to find Langit to the coffee shop, and heard some parts of Kuwat’s confession. After stopping Langit and calmed him down, he beat Kuwat until he’s hurt very badly (but not dead) for killing Langit’s mother, for planning to shot him down, and for seducing his gemblak.

Since that day, Langit and Laut’s became even closer than before. People can see now that the relationship they have is not merely a warok-gemblak thing anymore, but they’re actually real lovers. Neither one of them said it out loud, but the atmosphere is different. And they became fiercely possessive towards each other XD;;

A troublemaker, loves to provoke others. Always has this cheeky grin on his face, that makes him look like he's looking down to others. Really good at fighting. A free soul, doesn't like to be tied down by anything. He do what he likes and nobody can stop him. The marks on his body are actually a weapon, it can transform to any kind of weapon he likes. He usually transform it to a broomstick, just to piss his enemies off .

PLOT:
In this modern and high-tech world, not many people realize (or believe) that demons, wizards, mythical creatures and all those magical 'nonsense' really exist. However, they do exist. They mix very well with humans, with perfect disguises. You may think the T-Rex in the theme park is just an animatronic, or the dragon statue in the park is just a stone, but you never know. Demons, they're able to take human forms and live in the society. Even some are married to humans, and had babies. The humans usually can't differentiate them from other normal humans, but they themselves has an ability to tell by the magical aura.
Acalon is one of the half breeds. His agility and strength is much more better than humans, since he's a half demon. He works in a 'revenge agency', where he helps the clients to take revenge to the people they hate, and sometimes he works part time as a debt collector. A perfect job for people with his personality XD As a human who has a demon blood flowing in him, he was hunted by wizards. It is believed that the bodily liquids of a human/demon breed (sweat, blood, tears, and other types of liquids... yeah you know what I'm trying to say don't you? Perverts XD) is an important ingredient to make a potion for immunity from magic (half breeds are immune to magic, nobody knows why). He usually beat the shit out of them until they're half dead, thus they swore never to hunt him down again and choose to use those half breeds who donates their blood/tears/whatever. Yes, there are half breeds who donates, but not many. And they charge an insanely high price. But for those wizards, it's better than getting beaten up again =p
However, there's one wizard who still hunts for him, despite being beaten up several times already. His name is Caderyn, a very determined wizard. He believes that the personality of half breeds also plays a part in the power of the potion. The 'harder' the personality, the stronger the potion will get. I don't know if he's logical or just being stupid. Lol. After meeting (and got beaten by) Acalon, he thinks that 'this is the one!' and keep trailing him wherever he goes. It's not that Caderyn's weak, he's quite strong and well trained in martial arts. But he's still a human, so Acalon is still stronger and faster than him.

Seeing the strong will (or stupidity) of this wizard, Acalon seems to take a liking to him. He lets Caderyn chase him, often teasing him by popping out in front of him suddenly and runs away in an instance, just to make him all worked up and frustrated.

Tried to make it a speed painting-concept art style..so it supposed to be finished quite quickly. It didn't =3= I like how it turns out, tho. Watched the movie, kinda disappointed, then read some people said the novel is much, much, more better. Tried to read, and hooked to it XD;
So. Nico is not in the movie (yet? I dunno if he'll be in the next movie). He's the son of Hades. Kinda cool, cos he can command the undead, and able to summon a bunch of skeleton soldiers. He was such a brat at the beginning, but I liked him better as the story goes.

Actually I drew the skeleton soldiers, but the picture turns out better without them, so I just deleted it ._.
The tree basic shape was a brush I got from the ImagineFX mag =p

Supposed to be a doodle..but I ended up playing around with patterns and all *aka abusing patterns n brushes*.

Well, this is Langit again, in a more anime-ish style. With the bigger eyes and all. I guess this is when he was younger...around 15 or 16. Laut has already took him in his care since he's 13 when his family died, but he was officially became his gemblak at the age of 18. Cos Laut says he has no interest in brats (and also because I have no interest in shota, thank you very much).

One more quite surprising thing from Laut..he likes flowers. Every Sundays he will have Langit accompany him to run some errands to the market, and he always drops by the flower seller. He will buy a bunch of flowers to fill a number of vases he has. After buying the flowers, he will always take one and place it on Langit's hair.

Lame story I know. Shut up, they're my OCs XD;;

I've abandoned my blog for quite a while. Just open it to go to some blogs I've linked or some websites. Actually I don't know what to write also, hahaha.

Okay, so I'll write my random thought.

A few days ago I stumbled upon this video. It's a debut MV of a new Korean girls band named f(x). My friend posted the vid on he FB, with the comment 'KAKKOIII~~~!!' So I was curious, n I tried to watch it. The 1st thing that caught my attention was this guy. I thought, 'Wah, a pretty boy!' *ok I like pretty boys, so what =p* THEN I realized that it's not a pretty boy, but a handsome girl. LOL. I was fooled wth D:

I sent the link to some of my friends, and they were also fooled =p And even Irene said (jokingly of course);
'WTFFFF!! I almost turned to les!!'

Bahahhaa. But seeing the other comments posted on youtube, a lot of girls also squeals and screams about how cool is this girl (her name is Amber, btw). This made me think...if girls see 'cool and handsome girl', they will squeal and go 'kyaaa'. But guys, where got ah? LOL. If a guy see a pretty boy, they won't go 'kyaa'. Does this means girls (hetero ones) are easier to turn bi? =x Nah, I don't mean to offense anybody, Amber's fans and Amber herself. Admittedly, for me sometimes it's also entertaining to see 'handsome girls'. Like Amber, or Orochi,one popular cosplayer in Indo (she's a girl, but she usually cosplays as male characters, and sooo handsome D:). But really, seeing this I can't help to think so. Not only this Amber and Orochi, but in my high school last time also. You see, my high school was an all-girls school. And most of the teachers are female. And most of the male teachers are married =p So. I often see some juniors adores their seniors, esp those who are good in sports or a little boyish.

Oh, and I also read somewhere that girls are indeed easier to become a bi. Why is that so? o.o Is it because most guys are educated to 'be a man!' and so, if they (hetero ones) see pretty boys they don't go kyaa, but the opposite?

Went to the Singapore Toy Convention yesterday at Suntec. It was so damn crowded wth o_o Some nice stuff to buy, although I only bought two Gintama figurines.

Went for a toy festival at SAM with Sheena, Fat, Charmaine, her bf, her bro and her bro's friend. Quite dissappointed, but Charmaine was happy that she managed to buy two EVA figurines. After that, went around and around with Sheena and Fat. Was planning to visit SIM gradshow somewhere at Sophia road, but we were lost. So we headed to the Cathay instead to catch Ice Age 3. Malva will be joining us...so we bought the 2pm movie (the time was still 11+ or something). Went to Plaza Sing to had lunch, and walked around. Oh, and found these two Spiderman dolls in an extremely gay position...LOL
